Contact and identity details; reservation dates; delivery address and access notes; approved-driver data; agreements; uploaded trip documents; support, incident and feedback records; partner attribution; payment status and provider references; and first-party website events.
Why we use it
To quote and provide rentals, validate inventory and eligibility, coordinate delivery and pickup, complete agreements and inspections, prevent fraud, respond to support and safety events, improve the booking funnel and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Payments
Payment-card entry is handled by the connected payment provider. Wavy stores payment status, amounts and provider references—not full card numbers or security codes.
Identity and account access
The guest and admin portals use the site identity provider. Wavy receives the authenticated account identifier, email and available display name needed to match reservations and enforce access.
Files and sensitive trip documents
Driver-license images and return photos use private object storage and require an authenticated booking match. Access is limited to the guest and authorized operations workflows.
Communications
Transactional messages cover reservation, delivery, support and safety activity. Marketing requires an opt-in. Provider connections and domain authentication must be completed before production email sending.
First-party analytics
Wavy records limited page, funnel and referral events in its own database. The current system does not depend on third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing activity.
Sharing
Information may be shared with payment, email, hosting, identity, insurance, claims, legal or public-safety providers only as needed for the service, a lawful request or an incident. Wavy does not sell personal information.
Retention and choices
Records are kept only as long as needed for operations, safety, disputes, accounting, legal retention or active consent. You may request access, correction, marketing opt-out or deletion subject to required transaction and legal records.
Security and limitations
Wavy uses authenticated routes, server-side authorization, private storage and provider-scoped credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; report suspected misuse promptly.
